Lineale is a graphical shelving system, a floating structure that carry books themselves designed under graphical researches and rules. Refering to the representation of language, the Lineale typeface is born from the modernist movement Bauhaus in the early 1920 and reflect an aesthetic economy, a rational functionalism.

Using a composition grid as a drawing rule, Lineale deals with the illusion between bi-dimensional and tri-dimensional thanks to a simple networking of curved lines. A floating and lightweight framework, easy to install horizontally, vertically or obliquely.
